ARKA was founded in 2026 by Praveen Raj and Naveen Athithyha — two architects who had spent the previous decade shaping spaces across residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional briefs. The studio is the result of that decade-long conversation: a practice where every project is approached with the same care, regardless of scale.
The name Arka means radiance in Sanskrit. We chose it because it captures what we believe architecture is for — not just to enclose space, but to let light, material, and time enter it gracefully.
Praveen Raj brings over a decade of practice across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects; before ARKA he led design at Urbanext Architecture for six years. Naveen Athithyha E graduated in Architecture from McGan’s Ooty School of Architecture in 2016 and leads design direction across the studio.
